Our client, a respected national children's Charity, are recruiting for a North West based Regional Child Sexual Exploitation Officer to deliver a service aimed at preventing and lowering incidences of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSE/CSA).
The successful candidate will be working for a respected national charity that has been helping some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people for over 100 years. They provide high quality and innovative services and support children who are at their most vulnerable to achieve their full potential.
The role will sit within their newly formed national CSE/A Prevention team and your role will be to liaise with Police Forces and CSE/A Stakeholders across the North West in order to develop the regions key strategies in line with local need and priorities.
Your role will include analysing CSE data, developing strategies and action plans and developing positive working relationships and partnerships with key partners to ensure the region is able to deliver set outcomes.
You will be leading on all specialist themes of CSE prevention work which will include prevention working with BME communities including Gypsies, Roma and Travellers, young people who identify as LGBT and Boys and Young Men
You will also be working directly with victims of CSE as and when required supporting them with their practical and emotional needs.
*They are looking for an experienced Practitioner who has a background in working with children and young people who have experienced/ are experiencing CSE/ CSA and or client who have a proven track record within Domestic and/ or Sexual Violence services
*The successful candidate will need to display an ability to network with a wide array of stakeholders (including the Police, children/ young people, families/ carers and specialist agencies, services and professionals) and an ability to draft reports/ recommendations
