An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced Senior Service Manager to manage a range of specialist services focused at supporting and advocating on behalf of vulnerable children and young people across Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire.

The successful candidate will be working for a respected national charity who works tirelessly to transform the lives of some of the UK's most vulnerable children. They provide high quality and innovative services and deliver child focus programmes which they are constantly striving to develop and improve.

You will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of a number of CYP services (including CSE, Intensive Family Support, Children's Rights and Missing from Home) and will be working closely with the Area Director to identify and develop new funding and projects.

You will be line managing between 5 - 7 Service Managers and will have indirect management oversight of between 20 - 30 front line support staff. This will included working closely with the Service Managers to drive forward continuous improvement, service development and performance management and will be liaising with the SMT and local and national funders to present SLAs and performance statistics and reports.

You will be raising awareness of the service and its work within the locality to commissioners, external partners and supporters and proactively working to develop and maintain productive working relationships. You will also hold lead responsibility for all safeguarding concerns and will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintain.

The successful candidate will need to have senior managerial level experience and experience of managing services across multiple locations. They are ideally looking for someone with a proven track record of managing Children and Young People related services and/ or Housing/ Supported Housing/ Social Care related projects.
