Resourcing Group Futures are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional Administrator to work within a Medical Charity's Research and Patient Involvement Team.

The successful candidate would be working for a specialist medical charity who is committed to funding life changing research into wound healing. The organisation are working tirelessly alongside their patients and the scientific and medical communities to achieving their vision of a scar free future.

The Research and Patient Involvement Team is responsible for directing a national programme of research to better understand scarring, standardised assessment, treatment and care and to pilot new treatments to reduce scars and eventually eliminate them.

The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the team with all administration duties (including minute taking and diary management), project coordination and management, working with the team to access applications for research funding and grant applications and liaising with academics, clinicians and patients.

You will be assisting the Head of Research Funds with the delivery of the charity's Strategy and the management of the their funded research.

You will also be establishing and delivering a meaningful and rewarding public involvement to ensure the "lived experience" voice is heard in all research activities from prioritisation to dissemination.

This role offers the opportunity to gain a thorough grounding in research management, supporting some of the brightest minds in science and research.

You will play a vital role in helping to achieve the charity's objectives and will gain a valuable insight into a wide range of research funding techniques, along with the opportunity to participate in various projects.

Essential Requirements

Previous administration experience is essential along with excellent organisation and communication skills (verbal and written).

Desirable Requirements

Experience of working within the NHS, Private Medical Organisation, Medical Charities and/ or Royal College of Medicine/ Surgeons
