We are working with a local charity in Nottinghamshire that are looking to recruit a Communications & Marketing Officer.
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week.
The main purpose of this position is to develop and support the charity's online and offline communications to maximise digital, marketing and media opportunities, This should fall in line with their Fundraising and Communications Plan.
You will be the first point of contact for all communication and branding enquiries, help create and maintain content for the charity's online platforms including the website, identify media opportunities to maximise positive media coverage and awareness.
Co-ordinate and produce newsletters, leaflets, publicity and promotional materials, Interview case studies and media spokespeople. You will provide media support for internal and external campaigns.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in communications/ journalism/ publications or similar, who has liaised with a variety of individuals and organisations at all levels.
Experience of on-line communications, especially social media and websites is essential.
You will have an ability to identify and maximise opportunities for media, communications and income generation along with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to produce high quality written material, for copy writing, copy editing and publicity materials, posters and press releases, with attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the information
You must hold a minimum degree level or equivalent education
Enhanced DBS will be required for this role. Car Driver would be advantageous.
