Our client, a national charity is looking for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to support victims of domestic abuse within their Staffordshire Office.
You will work as part of a team to provide a high quality independent support service to victims living in Staffordshire who have or are experiencing domestic violence.
Providing short, medium and longer term interventions which enable them to be safer, achieve better health and wellbeing and longer term autonomy and resilience.
You will carry out a DASH RIC for every person referred to the service and refer to the relevant MARAC where an assessment is high risk, Set up and run community-based drop in advice sessions, provide housing-related support. You will also provide locality based Healthy Relationship Programs and one to one advice sessions for current and former clients as well as new clients.
We are looking for someone with experience of providing advice and support to anyone that has been affected by domestic violence. Safe Lives Qualification would be advantageous.
