Job description

We are looking for an experienced Therapist to work within a mental health triage service and IAPT service providing support to Children Young People and Young Adults (CYPYA) up to the age of 18 (or up to the age of 25 for those with disabilities and/or care leavers) with emotional, behavioral and mental health difficulties and their friends, families and carers.
Carrying out 'meet and greet' duties helping CYPYA to discuss their concerns about their mental health and to access self-help, or other support systems. You will also deliver low-intensity therapeutic support under a brief therapy framework.

We are looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of anxiety and depression presentations in Primary Care and the need for evidence based interventions, Demonstrates a knowledge of the issues surrounding socio- economic factors and mental health and able to demonstrate a knowledge of the issues that CYPYA face when accessing mental health services

This role is for a minimum of 3 months to work 37 hours per week, including evenings where necessary. There will be a rota in place to cover Saturday's 12-4. We really need staff that can be flexible with their working hours to meet the needs of the service

If you have experience of working in settings with CYPYA who have emotional, behavioural and/or mental health difficulties, can demonstrate clinical outcomes and meeting agreed performance targets, have the ability to manage your own caseload and time, able to write clear reports and letters within high standards of written communication and experience of working with BAME, emerging communities and families and would like to work with an experienced team that are supporting Children, Young People and their families at a time of need - Please give me a call
