Job description

We are working with a local Charity in Staffordshire whom are looking to recruit Domestic Abuse Support Workers for 8 - 10 weeks.

These positions are to start ASAP, full time hours; Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.

You will work as part of a team to provide a high quality frontline service to victims who are experiencing domestic violence.

Providing short, medium and longer term interventions which enable them to be safer, achieve better health and well-being and longer term autonomy and resilience. You will carry out DASH RIC, complete safety plans and provide housing-related support.

You will need to have experience of working with vulnerable clients that have been affected by domestic/ sexual abuse, drug and alcohol substance misuse, mental health issues and/or homelessness. You will have the ability to carry out risk assessments, develop support plans, and liaise with various agencies to support the clients.

It is essential that you have the ability to assess risk and manage crisis situations, and produce and maintain professional, detailed records, letters and reports.

Enhanced DBS essential, Car Driver advantageous.
