Job description

We are working with a charity that provides supported accommodation for vulnerable clients.

This is a temporary position working 30 hours per week, to start ASAP until March 2020.

Working as part of the staff team to provide high quality accommodation and support for homeless people with complex needs related to mental health, drug & alcohol dependencies and other issues. You will assist clients identify support needs and aspirations, access services and opportunities to meet current and future housing, health and support needs.

You will need to have experience working with the homeless, drug and alcohol substance misusers, ex-offenders, and/ or young people. You will have the ability to develop support plans, work as a team and on your own, and have the ability to liaise with various agencies to support the clients.

Knowledge and experience of completing Risk Assessments and Support Plans and experience making new HB claims and knowledge of completing new universal credit claims for clients.

Enhanced DBS is essential.
