Job description

Resourcing Group are looking for an experienced PA/ Office Manager for a local charity in Leicestershire.

This is covering a maternity position for up to 12 months starting ASAP.

Working 37 hours per week; Monday - Friday. Some evenings and weekend work maybe required from time to time. Notice will be given should this be required.

You will provide PA support and monitoring reports to the CEO alongside undertaking office management and admin duties. To coordinate all communications activity, ensuring it is in line with their charitable objectives. You will have direct responsibility for content and measurement for their social media, editing their website, promoting the Charity and keeping literature updated

We are looking for someone with experience of using Microsoft packages and social media, Experience of dealing directly and by telephone with the public, Experience of developing and maintaining systems for information storage and retrieval, diary systems etc, Web editing and writing skills, Commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities, Organisational skills and ability to plan, manage and prioritise a varied and complex workload, including working to tight deadlines, Writing skills including evidence of producing reports, policies and internal briefing papers and ability to write succinct reports on complex areas, Excellent use of spreadsheets; diligent, ordered and well-practised at monitoring and evaluation, Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot difficult situations, calls etc and deal with such situations calmly, efficiently and effectively.

Ideally you will have experience of working in the voluntary sector, servicing committees, including minute-taking, experience of using social media platforms and of marketing/communications.

You will be Educated to degree level or 3 years experience in a similar role

Full Driving Licence and access to own transport for work would be desirable.

Enhanced DBS is essential.
