A fantastic opportunity for a temporary Housing & Community Officer has arisen in Birmingham. This is a Temporary, Full Time position to start next week; this is covering whilst my client's permanent recruitment takes place. Please note, there is an opportunity to apply for the permanent position, should this be something you would be interested in.

The main aim is to provide a high quality Estate and Tenancy Management Service to a diverse range of customers within a designated geographical patch, ensuring the varying needs of all customers including vulnerable are met.

Duties to include assisting customers to maintain their tenancies, carrying out inspections, tenancy audits, dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour, understanding and explaining service charges, minimising void turnarounds, attending viewings and new tenancy sign ups, increase resident engagement within your allocated patch and ensure you carry out all aspects of tenancy and estate management including opportunities for estate improvement.

You must have previous knowledge/ experience of successfully managing estates and tenancies; dealing with anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping, repairs and maintenance, service charges, housing benefits and welfare reform, voids and sustaining tenancies.
